This role involves performing field service activities, including installing, configuring, and maintaining technical equipment and systems at client locations. The Field Engineer will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide hands-on technical support, and ensure minimal downtime for client operations. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, coordinating with project teams, documenting service activities, and communicating clearly with clients about findings and solutions. The person in this role will also assist with small project implementations, follow safety and quality standards, and provide feedback to improve service processes and technical documentation.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve on-site issues efficiently.Candidates should possess solid Field Service experience, including working directly at client locations and handling equipment or system installations.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.Candidates should possess basic Project Management abilities to plan service activities, coordinate resources, and meet timelines.Relevant technical education (e.g., degree or certification in engineering, electronics, IT, or related field) is beneficial.Experience in technology or telecommunications environments, and familiarity with regional standards and practices, is an advantage.Ability to work independently in the field, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions and customer needs.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Santo Domingo and occasionally to other regions, as required.
