About the role
Lead and ensure proper management of the operation’s financial, accounting, and cost functions, providing accurate and timely information to support business decision-making. The role is responsible for P&L, budgeting, forecasting, manufacturing costs, inventory, cash flow, and financial analysis of projects, contributing to organizational profitability and growth. Act as a strategic business partner to Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Management, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and resource optimization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze the monthly P&L, Budget, and Forecast.
- Project sales, costs, expenses, and profitability, and analyze variances against budget and forecast.
- Calculate break-even point, contribution margin, and financial scenarios.
- Present financial results, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to Management and Corporate Finance.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor Standard Cost and calculate actual manufacturing costs.
- Analyze variances related to materials, labor, overhead, purchase prices, efficiency, scrap, and absorption.
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels; analyze inventory days, turnover, obsolescence, and variances.
- Lead and ensure timely completion of the monthly financial close.
- Coordinate audits and follow up on findings and corrective action plans.
- Evaluate the financial impact of expansion projects, new products, and capacity investments.
- Prepare ROI, Payback, and CAPEX analyses; monitor CAPEX budgets and actual spending.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor P&L, Budget, and Forecast accuracy and achievement, cost variance control and reduction, margin and productivity improvement, inventory and working capital optimization, and audit and internal control compliance.
