Sans Souci Girls’ High School is seeking a highly organised, ethical and financially active management team to join our school from 1 January 2027. We are seeking a highly organised, ethical and financially active professional with strong financial, operational and people-management skills. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the financial and operational management of the school. • Provide financial and operational support to the Principal and School Management Team. • Oversee and coordinate non-teaching/support staff, ensuring effective day-to-day functioning and service delivery. • Prepare and monitor the annual budget, expenditure and financial reporting. • Manage the full accounting function, including debtors, creditors, cashbook and reconciliations. • Oversee school fee billing, collections and outstanding accounts. • Manage procurement, purchasing and capital expenditure in accordance with school policies. • Oversee payroll, statutory submissions and financial compliance. • Ensure effective financial controls, record-keeping and audit readiness. REQUIREMENTS: • A recognised BCom, Accounting/Finance degree, 3-year Financial qualification or similar. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar financial management role. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and relevant regulations. • Experience with Pastel Accounting, Simple Pay and MS Office, particularly Excel. • Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, payroll and statutory requirements. • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and with a team. • High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism. • Experience in a school environment will be an advantage.
