About the role
At Epicor, the Financial Services Specialist focuses on resolving past-due accounts within existing credit and collections policies. The role also involves judgment and decision-making regarding accounts receivable and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable portfolios for an assigned territory.
- Contact customers to obtain payment commitments, follow up on payment status, determine reasons for non-payment, and escalate when necessary.
- Act as a liaison between customers and field sales and service to resolve disputes and initiate credit memos as needed.
- Contact customers to resolve past-due balances before release.
- Secure purchase orders from customers when required.
- Prepare accounts receivable and collections reports and analysis.
- Enter electronic invoicing for customer accounts.
- Reconcile accounts by providing backup detail and submitting tie-offs and refund requests as needed to clean up account balances.
- Review account status, obtain payment commitments, and document relevant information in internal account systems.

- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in data entry.
- Excellent customer orientation.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

- Fluent spoken English and advanced written English.
- Two or more years of applicable experience.
- High school diploma preferred.
