Forklift Operator

Key responsibilities:
1- Unload and move around palletized products. Products come in pickup trucks, box trucks and 40’ containers.
2- Enter the product information in the label template and print it out.
3- Scan received, put-away and transferred products with handheld which is part of the ERP (Epicor) system.
4- Maintain a clean & safe environment.
5- Ensure the working order of forklifts prior to use.
6- Help with sorting, product rework and quality inspection when needed.
7- Other miscellaneous warehouse duties may occasionally be required by Quality Control or Warehouse Manager.
8- Occasionally need to work overtime when container arrive late.

Key skills:
1- More than 3 year experience driving both stand-up and sit down forklifts. 3 years of stand-up forklift experience is a must.
2- Familiar with IR barcode scan system for inventory management.
3- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with warehouse personnel.
4- Good command of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel).
5- Ability to work with people of different cultural backgrounds.
6- High school diploma or equivalent
7- Possess a valid driver’s license.
8- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
