FP&A Associate (USD - Remote)

About the role

The FP&A Associate reports directly to the Founder/CEO and owns forecasting, financial statements, and recurring data that keeps teams aligned and accountable. This is the entire finance department, with broad ownership across finance and room to grow beyond a job description.

Schedule: Full-time — Mountain Time overlap.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, keeping financial statements accurate and up to date.
• Build and maintain forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support business decisions.
• Identify and explain variances and the story behind the numbers.
• Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for team meetings.
• Track performance across influencer spend, TikTok Shop, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other initiatives.
• Create individual-level metrics for customer service and warehouse operations teams.
• Pull and consolidate data from Shopify, GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and QuickBooks into usable analyses.
• Help the team decide whether to keep spending on an initiative, pull back, or double down.
• Handle ad hoc data and analysis requests from the CEO and leadership team.
• Support the development of more centralized data infrastructure; the company does not yet have a data warehouse.
• Take on projects beyond pure finance.
