Micro Jerseys is looking for a skilled Freelance Spanish Translator to join our team remotely from Montréal, Quebec, Canada. In this freelance role, you will translate diverse content from English to Spanish, ensuring precision, cultural relevance, and consistency in tone. Key Responsibilities Translate various documents and digital content from English to Spanish, maintaining consistent terminology and style. Proofread and edit translations to guarantee accuracy, clarity, and readability. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their translation requirements and preferences. Conduct thorough research to ensure correct use of terminology, idioms, and cultural nuances. Deliver high-quality translations within agreed deadlines. Participate in briefings and project meetings to discuss progress and updates. Stay updated on language trends, cultural developments, and translation technologies. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field. Proven experience translating from English to Spanish, with at least 2 years preferred. Strong proofreading skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in CAT tools and other relevant translation software. Excellent command of grammar, syntax, and style in both English and Spanish.
