Full Stack Java Developer

Role Description The Full Stack Java Developer will work in a contract, hybrid role based in Irving, TX, with flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Java on the back end and modern front-end technologies for user interfaces. The developer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, code reviews, and deployment. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, and ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability. The developer will also contribute to documentation, support production issues, and continuously improve existing systems and development practices.QualificationsStrong back-end web development skills, including Java, RESTful APIs, and server-side frameworks.Front-end development experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).Proficiency in software development and full-stack development, including integration of front-end and back-end components.Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).Knowledge of modern build tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, collaborate with distributed teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
