Role : Functional TesterLocation: Colombia — 100% RemoteDuration: ContractRole SummaryThe Business Acceptance Tester (BAT/UAT) works closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional project teams to validate business requirements and ensure enterprise solutions are delivered successfully within Oracle ERP R12 and Supply Chain environments. The tester analyzes requirements, designs test scenarios and cases, executes BAT/UAT activities, and supports release validation and deployment readiness. The role operates in a global, distributed Agile environment and requires active participation in sprint ceremonies, defect resolution, and stakeholder reporting. Candidates must be available for 24×7 support responsibilities.

🧩 Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Design Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases covering end-to-end workflows.BAT/UAT Execution Perform Business Acceptance Testing and support User Acceptance Testing activities, validating system functionality against business requirements.Defect Management Collaborate with business users, product owners, and project teams to identify, track, and resolve defects throughout the testing lifecycle.Agile Participation Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.Stakeholder Reporting Track, report, and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.Release Validation Support release validation efforts and ensure business readiness is confirmed prior to each deployment.Cross-Team Coordination Coordinate with onshore, offshore, and cross-functional teams across a multi-vendor environment to drive successful project execution.

🎓 QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)3+ years of hands-on experience in BAT/UAT and functional testing rolesExperience with Oracle ERP R12 modules (Order Management, SCM, Finance, Logistics) strongly preferredERP implementation or enterprise transformation project background is a plusSupply Chain, Customer Service, or Service Contract Management domain knowledge is preferred
