General Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounts.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.Prepare financial reports and support management with financial analysis.Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies.Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations.Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of accounting experience preferred.Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
