General Manager Costa Rica

Ascential Medical & Life Sciences | Automation is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our Costa Rica operation and drive business performance across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and support functions. This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L responsibility and accountability for operational excellence, customer satisfaction, employee development, and strategic growth.
What You'll DoLead overall business unit strategy and execution Own financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, and profitabilityDrive operational excellence across engineering and manufacturing teams Partner with customers and commercial teams to support business growth Build and develop high-performing leaders and teams Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and employment requirements Serve as the senior site leader for our Costa Rica operation and represent the business with local stakeholders and free trade zone authorities
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, automation, or engineered solutionsProven P&L leadership experienceStrong financial, operational, and strategic business acumenExperience leading cross-functional teams and driving resultsAbility to thrive in a global organization and build strong stakeholder relationships
Preferred ExperienceMBA or advanced engineering degreeMedical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experienceInternational leadership experienceCustom automation, capital equipment, or project-based manufacturing backgroundExperience scaling operations during periods of growth
