The Candidate
The ideal candidate is a bilingual executive with a strong strategic mindset and a proven history of leading Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain organizations within manufacturing or industrial distribution environments. This individual is a business leader who combines financial acumen with operational excellence, excels at building high-performing teams, and drives profitable growth through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
The Position – General Manager (Mexico)
Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, the General Manager will provide overall leadership for the Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Supply Chain functions across Mexico. This executive will be responsible for driving profitability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance while aligning local initiatives with the company’s global business strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Supply Chain organizations.Drive financial performance through P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and profitability analysis.Ensure compliance with Mexican accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.Oversee procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities.Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, optimize inventory, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.Establish KPIs and performance metrics that support continuous improvement and operational excellence.Build, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams.Collaborate closely with Sales, HR, and Corporate Leadership to execute strategic business initiatives.Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, and key business partners.Lead automation, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives that support long-term growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.15+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial distribution, or supply chain organizations.Demonstrated success leading Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain functions with full P&L responsibility.Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, accounting, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and financial controls.Proven ability to lead organizational transformation, improve operational performance, and drive business growth.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in both English and Spanish.
