Generalist I, HR

About the role

CommScope is looking for a Generalist I, HR to join its Delicias team in Delicias Chihuahua, Mex. This is a temporary position for 6 months, with availability to work different shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and mixed shifts.

The role coordinates human resource development, including identifying needs, designing and delivering courses, and monitoring development plans. It also supports compliance with the requirements of the “Secretaria del Trabajo y Previsión Social” regarding training.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the work environment to develop continuous improvement strategies and an action plan.
• Monitor performance evaluations and update profiles and job descriptions.
• Document procedures and support internal communication through communication boards and coordination of corporate events.
• Coordinate training and leadership development, implement leadership programs, and identify management competency gaps.
• Support leaders in team management and facilitate coaching and mentoring sessions.
• Monitor individual development plans and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
• Plan and monitor training needs, design and deliver courses, and maintain the manual induction for new employees.
• Administer scholarship plans and external training, and maintain training plans at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of the STPS regulatory framework, organizational development, and training.
• English proficiency.
• Knowledge of training databases, training in IVAS, intranet document consultation, indicators, and instructor training.
• Positive leadership, customer focus, personnel management skills, and knowledge of organizational values.
• Experience in group processes and communication skills at all levels.
• Ethical conduct, teamwork, Microsoft office, and SAP (Human Resources module).
• Excellent service attitude, flexibility to changes, and focus on results.
• General knowledge of Human Resources processes.
