Team members contribute directly to impactful community initiatives that foster stability, empowerment, and resilience.Role Description The Gerente de Voluntariado y Reclutamiento is a full-time, on-site role based in Isabela, Puerto Rico. This role oversees volunteer program planning, coordination, and management to support Mi Patria’s housing, education, and community initiatives. Daily responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, organizing schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring volunteers have the training and resources needed to perform effectively. The manager maintains positive relationships with volunteers, staff, and community partners, tracks participation and impact metrics, and provides regular reports to leadership. The role also involves developing recruitment strategies, hosting outreach events, and collaborating with internal teams to align volunteer efforts with organizational goals.QualificationsStrong Recruiting skills to design, implement, and optimize volunteer recruitment and retention processes.Proven ability in Employee Relations and Communication to build trust, address concerns, and foster an inclusive, respectful environment.Experience in Training and development to create and deliver orientations, workshops, and ongoing support for volunteers and staff.Demonstrated organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple initiatives.Ability to work on-site in Isabela and collaborate effectively with diverse community members and cross-functional teams.Preferred: experience in nonprofit, community development, or social services; proficiency in Spanish and English; bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field.
