What You'll Do

As Global IT Senior Infrastructure Developer, you will be responsible for development and technical support of BCG's new GenAI case team assistant.  You will work with a team of internal and external developers, product owners, solution architects and scrum masters to deliver on the roadmap. You will be expected to be hands-on with latest development technologies, and bring innovative ways to execute faster delivery for global BCG users. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated development practices, and the creation of quality products are essential.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

Participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver on the squad missionCreate technical design for using design guardrails and business needsSecurity best practices in cloud environmentsMonitoring and logging to analyze & track resource utilization, application performance, and identify potential issues, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki or ELK.Having knowledge of DevSecOps & DevOps.Strong Python experience including async programming Troubleshoot reported production tickets and provide timely analysis and resolutionStay abreast of development tools, trends and practices, and act as an advocate and promoter for items that should be considered for future initiatives Keeping Technical Debt to the bare minimum.Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with product owners/business analysts/solution architects and understand requirements carefully and execute.

What You'll Bring

Education

BTech/MCA with 5+ years of experience in the development of business applications in a commercial IT setting, or in consulting

Experience/Knowledge (Mandatory)

Experience developing multi-tenant applications (SaaS project) and multi-user M:M broadcast/pubsub/event streaming servicesExperience with multi-user tiered permission/access structures and data sharing permissionsExpertise in cloud security concepts (IAM, access control)Expertise in Advanced Terraform (modules and templates) for infrastructure as code automationExperience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version controlExperience with AWS, particularly EKS, serverless, queue & various databasesSolid knowledge of Kubernetes + EKS, GitOps and FinOps principles, Cloud architecture and systems design principles, and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, etc.) like VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing, TLS and SSLSolid git knowledge (tag, version, rebase)

Experience/Knowledge (Nice To Have)

Experience building a user-facing GenAI/LLM software applicationKnowledge on HelmOptimizes cloud resources for better performanceAWS Managed Services (RDS, Batch, Lambda, Fargate, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, etc.)FastAPI and NextJS experience (if we’re still using the latter)Websockets, Server-Side Events, Pub/Sub (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)
