Head of Security

JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for the Security related matters.
- Developing plans for security activities.
- Maintain and improve mechanisms for risk assessment and dissiminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities.
- Delegate authority and responsibility to team with accountability, to appropriately address internal entity risks.
- Design, manage and carry out security related Standard Operating Procedures.
- Responsible for dealing with Security related matters in prompt and efficient manner.
- Develop SOP for Security and maintain timely checks and updates.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures.
- Liaise with law enforcement and other agencies as needed.
- Conduct investigations into suspicious activities and work with appropriate authorities.
- Implementing security measures to protect company facilities and assets from damage, including theft and unlawful acts.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Coordinate with security operations and monitor the progress of tasks.
- Conducting regular audits with the relevant authorities within the organization to ensure all areas are covered effectively.
- Monitor training and security compliance to ensure compliance.
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
- Ensure the proper use of all vehicles and services, ensuring efficient coverage.
- Enforcing rules and regulations regarding practices for health, safety and security.
- Ensure compliance with the company policies.

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent knowledge of security standards and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Strong leadership of security management.
- Thorough understanding of Security Management obligations (including statutory obligations), requirements and dynamics.
- Provide and implement security operational plans at the organizational level.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree
- Working Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in Military, military retired officer for Armed Forces (Fighting Army only) / Experience in Civil Security is a must.
- Responsibilities include ensuring all security activities are properly monitored and implemented.
