We are seeking a motivated Health & Safety Technician to support occupational health and safety programs across a variety of client projects throughout Puerto Rico. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining fieldwork with digital safety management, inspections, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Location: Puerto Rico (Project Sites)Workplace Type: On-siteContract Type: Independent Contractor (Professional Services)Travel: Required based on project assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, PROSHA, client, and project safety requirements.Perform field safety inspections and workplace observations.Document unsafe conditions through photographs, field notes, and inspection records.Identify hazards, recommend appropriate control measures, and follow up on corrective actions.Prepare, maintain, and control project safety documentation.Manage inspection reports, findings, corrective actions, and supporting documentation using digital safety management platforms.Escalate critical safety concerns or incidents to management in a timely manner.Support the Safety Officer with project safety activities and supervisory tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
OSHA 30-Hour Certification (General Industry or Construction).Minimum one (1) year of occupational safety experience within the last five years.Bilingual (English and Spanish).Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and digital reporting tools.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Puerto Rico.Working knowledge of OSHA and PROSHA regulations.

Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during site visits.Ability to work outdoors under varying environmental conditions.Ability to safely access active construction and industrial work environments while wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Project-Based Opportunity
