High School English Teacher

High School English TeacherWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School English Teacher to join our school community.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject-matter knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote critical thinking, effective communication, and student growth. Candidates should be able to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and learning styles of students.The successful candidate will:Plan, prepare, and deliver meaningful and engaging English lessons aligned with curriculum goals.Assess, monitor, and evaluate student learning and academic progress.Differentiate instruction to support a variety of learners and promote student success.Create a positive, respectful, and supportive classroom environment that fosters students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development.Maintain accurate academic and student records and follow established school procedures and policies.Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, faculty, staff, and members of the school community.Demonstrate strong organizational, time-management, and classroom-management skills.Participate in student supervision, school activities, and other responsibilities associated with a full-time teaching position.Promote the appropriate use and care of instructional materials, technology, equipment, and school facilities.Qualifications and Preferred Skills:Strong command of written and spoken English.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Spanish proficiency is preferred.Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community.Experience using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.Previous teaching experience at the secondary/high school level is preferred.
