Role Description The Human Resources Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in San Juan. This role supports daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records and orientation, and providing general HR administrative support. The Human Resources Assistant helps coordinate benefits-related inquiries, and HR communications for associates across multiple restaurant locations. The role also involves working with HR systems to update data, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This position collaborates closely with HR leadership and other departments to support a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace.
Qualifications Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) practices and HR Management to support day-to-day HR operations.Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) for maintaining employee data and generating reports. Understanding of Benefits Administration to assist associates with enrollment, inquiries, and documentation.Ability to support Training activities, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills in en_US; bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high ethical standards.Previous experience in HR support or administrative roles, preferably in hospitality or retail, is an advantage.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
