Job Overview:
The HR Generalist provides comprehensive support across all HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with policies and regulations. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance processes, training, benefits, and HR data while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
Job Responsibilities: Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.Facilitate onboarding and conduct new hire orientations for a seamless transition.Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts promptly and fairly.Support the development and implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with employment laws.Assist managers with goal setting, performance evaluations, and improvement plans.Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills.Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a liaison with providers to resolve issues.Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system and generate reports for decision-making.Stay informed on HR best practices and recommend process improvements.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.1, 2 year’s experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with HRIS platforms beyond basic functionality (e.g., advanced reporting, integrations).Familiarity with payroll administration and benefits management systems.Knowledge of talent management strategies and employee engagement initiatives.Strong analytical skills for interpreting HR metrics and supporting data-driven decisions.Experience in handling HR functions in a multi-location or hybrid work environment.Ability to manage projects and implement process improvements in HR operations.
