Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead and execute the company's people strategy while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. This individual will oversee all areas of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, organizational development, and culture. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations.
Responsibilities:Lead all human resources functions, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and business objectives.Partner with executive leadership to develop workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that promote employee engagement, accountability, and operational excellence.Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and offboarding processes.Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment matters.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws while managing HR policies and risk mitigation efforts.Lead compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs to attract and retain top talent.Manage performance review processes, employee development initiatives, and leadership training programs.Oversee HRIS administration, employee records, reporting, and HR analytics to support business decisions.Develop and manage departmental budgets while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on employee engagement, diversity, and continuous improvement.Lead, mentor, and develop the Human Resources team.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Extensive Human Resources leadership experience with a proven track record of overseeing multiple functional areas within HR.Demonstrated success leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing HR teams.Deep understanding of employment law, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices with the ability to proactively minimize organizational risk.Experience serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, helping drive workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.Experience overseeing compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs while ensuring compliance and competitive market positioning.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with experience using data to support HR strategy.Professional HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
