Job Description:Strategic leader responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising the company's import and export operations. The role ensures strict compliance with local and international customs regulations, mitigating fiscal and legal risks. Additionally, the candidate will lead relationships with customs brokers, carriers, and authorities to optimize logistics costs and transit times across the cross-border and global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with the IMMEX program, VAT/IEPS certifications, and current customs regulations.Inventory Control: Supervise material control, ensuring the accuracy of physical and tax inventories using WMS and ERP (SAP) systems.Cross-Border Operations: Efficiently control cross-border traffic (Mexico-USA) and coordinate global shipments via maritime, air, and land modalities.Financial Optimization: Design and implement strategies focused on reducing logistics costs, improving transit times (Lead times), and optimizing physical routes.Issue Resolution: Analyze supply chain deviations, proposing continuous improvements in customs processes and commercial conditions.
Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in leadership or management positions within foreign trade/logistics, ideally in the manufacturing/maquiladora industry.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics Engineering, or a related field.Languages: Advanced English (Fluent business English is mandatory).Essential Technical Knowledge: Expert-level experience in Mexican customs legislation, advanced administration of Annex 24 and Annex 30, as well as applicable security certifications (such as C-TPAT and OEA).Digital Skills: Advanced mastery of office automation tools (especially Excel for data analysis) and experience managing logistics/materials modules in ERP (SAP).Skills: High negotiation capability, effective communication, data-driven decision-making, strong organizational skills, and a result-oriented mindset.
Working Hours:Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:06 pm.
