Independent Consultant Patient Access Healthcare Operations

About the role

Confidential is seeking a fully bilingual independent consultant to collaborate on current and upcoming projects. This independent consulting/professional services opportunity may support multiple projects as the portfolio grows.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from planning through execution.
• Help develop processes, coordinate resources, and supervise project teams.
• Ensure deliverables and operational objectives are carried through to completion.
• Develop and implement workflows and operational processes, and keep initiatives moving.

Requirements

• Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, accountability, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work remotely and on-site, depending on project needs, and availability to begin supporting projects in the near term.
• Healthcare experience, particularly in patient access and patient navigation; specialty pharmacy or pharmacy operations; health plan or PBM operations; coverage determinations, prior authorizations, and appeals; or reimbursement and access-related healthcare programs.
• A pharmacist or other healthcare professional would be an excellent fit. The opportunity is also suited to someone with the right combination of healthcare experience, operational expertise, leadership, and ability to execute.
