Information Technology Project Manager

About the role

Food For The Poor is an international relief and development organization and an interdenominational Christian ministry. The IT Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives, from business case and planning through implementation, transition, and closeout.

The role is accountable for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, vendor performance, and stakeholder alignment across infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, software development, and digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent IT projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, implementation, transition, and closure.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, resources, budget, procurement, change management, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.
• Partner with technical and business leaders to define measurable outcomes, success criteria, governance requirements, and realistic plans.
• Serve as a liaison among business leaders, technical teams, the PMO, Finance, Procurement, and third-party partners.
• Translate organizational priorities into executable roadmaps, challenge assumptions, resolve delivery barriers, and provide clear recommendations to support timely decisions.
• Strengthen project governance, financial discipline, vendor accountability, and continuous improvement across the IT portfolio.
