Job DescriptionWe are seeking an IT Quality Control Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will apply foundational software testing and quality assurance methods across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to validate application functionality against documented business requirements and support delivery during the Annual Enrollment Period.
Responsibilities:Create and execute test assets, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test metrics, to ensure alignment to requirements and design.Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression testing across multiple releases.Participate in peer reviews to confirm completeness and quality of all test assets.Follow applicable SDLC and testing processes and contribute to continuous improvement.Identify, log, track, and review defects; collaborate with teams to assess application quality and verify fixes.Collect and prepare test data to support execution and validation activities.Support transition of software and systems into production, including production validation during releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Foundational knowledge of software testing and QA methodologies across the SDLC.Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and documenting results and defects.Basic understanding of SIT, UAT, Regression testing, defect identification, tracking, and test data preparation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and collaboration with business, operational, and technical teams.BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and at least 1 year of application testing, IT quality experience, or an approved IT internship; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills:Experience in fast-paced operational environments with multiple priorities and deadlines.Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.Basic SQL for data validation and query-based testing.Exposure to healthcare, enrollment, or regulated environments and associated compliance practices.Experience supporting production validation activities and software releases during Annual Enrollment Period cycles.
