Information Technology Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

The IT Quality Analyst helps ensure applications meet business requirements, perform as expected, and support critical operational needs. The role offers hands-on experience across the Software Development Life Cycle, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect tracking, and production validation. It also involves healthcare technology projects and offers the potential for long-term career growth through a temp-to-hire path.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data to support application quality.
• Perform SIT, UAT, regression testing, and validation activities across multiple testing phases.
• Review business requirements and expected results to confirm application functionality.
• Identify, document, track, and review system defects through resolution.
• Maintain testing documentation, test results, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to support releases, implementations, and Annual Enrollment Period testing deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in application testing, IT Quality Assurance, or an approved IT internship.
• Foundational knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, test plans, and test data.
• Understanding of SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect tracking, and requirements validation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, documentation skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
