Job Title: IT Support Specialist (Onsite)- Dispatch Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for end users, office IT infrastructure, asset lifecycle management, and project-based deployments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining office technology, managing IT assets, and collaborating with remote technical teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless IT operations.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-User SupportProvide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.Install, configure, deploy, replace, and decommission end-user devices.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.Support user account setup, device onboarding, and workplace technology requests.Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 or specialized support teams and follow through until resolution.Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Office Infrastructure SupportSupport office IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, printing services, VoIP/telephony, audio-visual systems, and conference room technologies.Install, configure, and troubleshoot switches, routers, wireless access points, and structured cabling.Support smart office technologies, digital signage, meeting room solutions, and workplace collaboration tools.Coordinate preventive maintenance and vendor activities for office IT equipment.Perform basic network diagnostics and work with network engineers during incident resolution.Asset & Inventory ManagementReceive, register, label, image, configure, deploy, and track IT assets throughout their lifecycle.Maintain accurate inventory records using asset management systems.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile asset discrepancies.Coordinate warranty repairs, RMA processing, device redeployment, secure disposal, and spare stock management.Ensure compliance with company asset management policies, security standards, and audit requirements.Project & Site SupportSupport office relocations, workstation setups, hardware refresh projects, and infrastructure deployments.Assist with technology rollouts, business events, executive meetings, demonstrations, and office expansions.Provide remote hands support for infrastructure teams, including rack-and-stack activities, cable patching, and equipment installation when required.Escort third-party vendors and ensure compliance with onsite security and operational procedures.Maintain clear documentation of completed work, project updates, and technical procedures.Required Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Help Desk, or Field Services.Hands-on experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, printers, and office IT environments.Good understanding of LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and wireless access points.Experience with hardware deployment, imaging, asset lifecycle management, and inventory control.Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and endpoint management tools is preferred.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and customer service skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate with remote support teams and third-party vendors.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsCompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or ITIL certifications are an advantage.Experience supporting AV systems, conference room technologies, and workplace collaboration tools.Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ITSM platforms.Experience working in enterprise or corporate office environments.
