Innovation and Project Execution Lead
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Innovation and Project Execution Lead to drive the successful commercialization, technical transfer, and execution of new product initiatives within an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with Operations, Technical, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, R&D, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully while meeting quality, cost, timing, and manufacturing capability requirements.
ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional partnerships across Operations, Technical, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, and R&D to ensure successful project execution and technical transfers.Lead the commercialization and introduction of new products, line extensions, geographic expansions, and other innovation initiatives.Manage project and technical risk assessments, ensuring robust and cost-effective manufacturing processes.Conduct and coordinate Site Impact Assessments (SIA) to evaluate site capabilities, required investments, estimated costs, resources, and timelines for potential product transfers.Ensure new and transferred products meet established quality, process capability, design specification, and business acceptance criteria.Provide resource management and oversight to Project Managers executing NPI, VE/PPV, line extensions, and complex site projects.Develop project plans, secure appropriate resources, monitor execution against established timelines, and implement contingency plans when necessary.Ensure appropriate risk mitigation plans are established and aligned with Site and Regional Quality Councils.Establish effective project teams and maintain clear communication with senior leadership and key stakeholders.Ensure project risks and issues are appropriately escalated and communicated throughout the organization.
Qualifications
EducationBachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:FDA-regulated manufacturing or processesNew Product Introduction (NPI)Manufacturing or product introduction project managementR&D product developmentTechnology transferDemonstrated experience within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.Experience leading the technical aspects of:New product introductionsTechnology transfersTechnical risk assessmentsProduct control strategiesValidationChange control
