Position Overview:We are seeking a customer-focused and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support the growth of our Aftermarket Services business. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers seeking replacement parts, service solutions, and aftermarket support for specialty vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will combine strong customer service and sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs, prepare quotations, process orders, and proactively generate revenue opportunities through cross-selling and upselling initiatives. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with customers, sales teams, engineering, shipping, and operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, EDI, CRM platforms, and other communication channels.Generate, prepare, issue, and follow up on parts and service quotations with the goal of converting opportunities into sales.Process sales orders, verify order accuracy, and manage customer transactions through the company's ERP and CRM systems.Proactively contact existing customers to assess inventory replenishment needs and identify additional sales opportunities.Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate parts, services, field installations, and aftermarket solutions.Utilize cross-selling and upselling strategies to maximize revenue and customer value.Determine vehicle specifications using internal databases, online resources, engineering documentation, and other data management systems.Coordinate with technical engineering teams to resolve product-related questions and identify solutions for customer concerns.Coordinate with buyers and suppliers regarding special-order parts and procurement requirements.Monitor, expedite, and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.Process return goods authorizations (RGAs), returns, and customer credits in accordance with company policies.Resolve customer service issues and maintain ownership of customer concerns through resolution.Collaborate with shipping, operations, and vehicle sales teams to ensure service commitments are met.Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners to support long-term business growth.Participate in special initiatives focused on sales growth, profitability, process improvements, and operational excellence.Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive activity and communicate insights to leadership.Meet or exceed established sales, service, and performance metrics.
Requirements:Minimum Requirements:Advanced proficiency in English.Valid passport and visa to travel to the United States for in-person training.1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, aftermarket services, or related roles.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable handling high volumes of customer interactions and sales activities.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in automotive, fleet, transportation, manufacturing, heavy equipment, or aftermarket parts industries.Experience using ERP and CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.Knowledge of vehicle parts, aftermarket services, maintenance programs, or equipment-related products.Experience interpreting build orders, bills of materials (BOMs), technical drawings, or engineering documentation.Experience with consultative selling, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.Familiarity with EDI order processing and inventory replenishment programs.Key Skills and Competencies:Inside sales and customer relationship management.Customer service excellence.Cross-selling and upselling techniques.Order management and sales administration.Problem-solving and conflict resolution.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Technical aptitude and product learning capability.Attention to detail and accuracy.Time management and prioritization.Team collaboration and stakeholder management.Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Revenue growth and customer retention focus.
Additional Information:Availability to commute to La Asunción, Belén de Heredia.Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Full-time role; candidate must be flexible with working hours based on operational needs.Occasional extended hours and some Saturdays may be required.Salary paid in US dollar.Medical Expense Insurance.Solidarist Association.Strategic partnerships with educational institutions to offer courses, certifications, or degree programs at preferential rates.
