Integration Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking an Integration Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of integrations across key enterprise systems. This role will focus on building and managing integrations using Dell Boomi and similar iPaaS platforms, connecting systems such as SQL Server, NetSuite, Salesforce, and ADP.
This role will also contribute to the integration and governance of enterprise AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude APIs), helping enable secure and scalable AI-powered workflows.The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in APIs and data integration, experience with integration platforms, and the ability to quickly ramp on existing systems using well-documented processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesCore Integration ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using Dell Boomi or similar iPaaS platformsBuild and maintain integrations between SQL Server, NetSuite, Salesforce, ADP, and other enterprise systemsMonitor integration processes and troubleshoot issues to ensure data accuracy and system reliabilityPerform data mapping, transformation, and workflow automation across systemsWork with existing integrations by reviewing documentation, debugging issues, and implementing enhancementsCollaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsParticipate in integration testing, validation, and documentationMaintain clear technical documentation for integrations, processes, and data flowsEnsure adherence to best practices, security standards, and data governance policies
AI Platform & API ResponsibilitiesSupport integration of enterprise AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, and other LLM APIs) into internal systems and workflowsBuild and maintain API-based integrations between AI services and enterprise applications (CRM, ERP, data platforms)Manage and secure API keys, tokens, and credentials in accordance with enterprise security practicesAssist in implementing governance controls for AI usage, including access management and usage monitoringCollaborate with security and architecture teams to ensure compliant handling of sensitive data (PII, financial data, etc.)Support development of reusable integration patterns for invoking AI services within Boomi or middleware platformsMonitor AI-related integrations for performance, reliability, and cost efficiencyDocument AI integration patterns and operational procedures
Required Qualifications1–3+ years of experience in integration, application development, or related IT rolesHands-on experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON, and XMLExperience with an integration platform (Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, or similar)Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in integration environmentsExperience working with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)Ability to work with and enhance existing integrations using documentation and logsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
