Interior Design Specialist

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled 3D Visualizer to join our design team. In thisrole, you will work closely with our architects and designers to translate schematic designs andCAD/BIM models into stunning, realistic renderings, walkthroughs, and marketing collateral.While our core workflow utilizes SketchUp, the ideal candidate is a tool-agnostic problem solverwho knows how to select and leverage the right software stack to achieve the highest qualityoutput efficiently.Key Responsibilities● Create Photorealistic Renderings: Produce high-end interior and exterior architecturalrenderings that accurately reflect materials, lighting, landscaping, and environmentalcontext.● Model Optimization: Take raw architectural models (primarily from SketchUp) andoptimize, detail, and prepare them for rendering.● Lighting and Texturing: Apply advanced texturing, UV mapping, and realistic lightingtechniques (natural and artificial) to establish mood and depth.● Post-Production: Enhance and polish final images using Photoshop or otherpost-processing tools for color grading, adding entourage (people, vegetation), and finaltouches.● Collaborative Workflow: Iterate quickly based on design team feedback during variousphases of schematic design, design development, and presentation prep.● Pipeline Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging visualization trends, software, andplugins to continuously improve our firm's rendering quality and speed.Qualifications & Skills● Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in architectural visualization, 3Drendering, or a related design field.● Core Requirement: Advanced proficiency in SketchUp for modeling and cleanup.● Rendering Engines: Expert-level knowledge in at least one industry-standard renderingengine (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Corona, or Twinmotion).● Post-Processing: Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop (and optionallyIllustrator/AfterEffects for animations).● Adaptability: Familiarity with importing/exporting assets across multiple platforms (e.g.,Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD) and a willingness to learn new tools as project needs dictate.● Design Sensibility: A strong eye for architectural composition, lighting, color theory,texture, and environmental context.● Communication: Ability to manage multiple deadlines, take constructive feedback, andcommunicate effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
