VOID is looking for an Interior Architect to join our team.We are seeking a thoughtful designer with a strong understanding of space, materiality, and human experience. This role involves developing interior environments that extend the architectural vision of each project, from early concepts through technical documentation, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.At VOID, we approach interior design as an integral part of architecture where materials, light, furniture, and spatial sequences contribute to a deeper relationship between people, place, and the natural environment.
Job Description
We are looking for an Interior Designer to lead the design and development of interior spaces across residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.This role involves shaping the interior experience from concept through detailed documentation, ensuring that every material, finish, and spatial decision reinforces the project's architectural narrative.The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility with technical precision, and is capable of coordinating with architects, consultants, suppliers, and clients to deliver spaces that are coherent, refined, and contextually responsive.
Key Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts aligned with the architectural vision of each project.Design interior spaces from schematic design through construction documentation.Produce detailed interior drawing packages, including plans, elevations, sections, millwork details, finish schedules, and FF&E documentation.Research and specify materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, and lighting.Coordinate closely with architecture, landscape, engineering, and specialty consultants.Ensure consistency between design intent, technical execution, and project budgets.Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and material selection meetings.Coordinate with manufacturers, fabricators, and contractors during documentation and construction.Conduct site visits to review construction progress and ensure design quality.Contribute to the continuous research of materials, products, and innovative interior solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.4–6+ years of professional experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial interior design.Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and technical execution.Experience developing complete construction documentation for interior projects.Advanced proficiency in Revit required.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, or visualization software is a plus.Fluent English (spoken and written).Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Deep understanding of materials, detailing, lighting, furniture, and interior construction systems.Genuine interest in sustainable design, craftsmanship, and contextual architecture.
