Internal Security Integrity Lead CR

BettingJobs is working with a well-established international online gaming operator to recruit an Internal Security Integrity Lead, based in San José, Costa Rica. This is a newly created leadership position within a centralised Risk & Fraud function that brings together programme delivery, tooling ownership, intelligence and internal investigations under one roof.
The Internal Security Integrity Lead will lead a dedicated team responsible for identifying and mitigating insider risk, safeguarding company assets and protecting the integrity of operational processes across Sports, Casino and Poker. It is a high-trust, high-impact role with genuine visibility at senior level.
You are a naturally inquisitive investigator with the credibility to lead. You spot the pattern others miss in a spreadsheet, you handle sensitive matters with complete discretion, and you are equally comfortable coaching an analyst through a case as you are presenting findings to the leadership team.
Responsibilities:Develop, implement and continuously refine a comprehensive internal security and integrity programme built around source identification, system control and internal threat mitigation.Oversee proactive identification and analysis of high-risk internal activity, including dormant account withdrawal patterns, manual crediting and journaling above defined thresholds, and test account misuse.Direct audits of bonus crediting practices, focusing on anomalies in playthrough requirements and recycled value.Lead audits of internal systems and user accounts, ensuring alignment with HR and payroll records and promptly revoking unauthorised access.Own user access management across internal platforms and close control gaps in native Sports, Casino and Poker systems that could allow crediting, free bets, free spins or free rolls to bypass central customer management tools.Supervise cross-referencing of internal device IDs against fraud databases to identify potential linkages and insider risk, and manage escalation protocols for immediate investigation.Lead, mentor and develop a team of Internal Security & Integrity Analysts, allocating work and ensuring consistently high-quality investigative output.Provide regular reporting and strategic insight to the Director of Risk, Fraud & Integrity on the internal threat landscape, investigation findings and programme effectiveness.Develop and enforce internal security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and governance standards.Work with technical teams to identify and implement tooling that strengthens monitoring, detection and investigative capability.
Requirements:3–5 years' experience in internal fraud, security operations or integrity management, ideally within gaming or financial services.Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing, mentoring and developing a team.Strong grasp of data analysis, system controls, access management principles and internal threat mitigation strategies.Exceptional analytical and investigative skills with a keen eye for detail and pattern recognition.Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly to senior stakeholders.Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion and integrity.Strong knowledge of gaming or financial services operations and the associated internal fraud vectors.Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving threat landscape.
