About the role

BIG Language Solutions is seeking an Interpreting Quality Assurance Analyst to monitor, evaluate, and support continuous improvement of interpreter performance across OPI and VRI service channels. The role uses AI QA tools, silent monitoring, test calls, and interaction reviews to support quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Available shift windows, aligned with PST: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. There are two openings per window.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate interpreter performance against universal QA rubrics using AI tools, silent monitoring, and test calls.
• Identify compliance gaps related to HIPAA and interpreter ethics.
• Complete 100–110 evaluations per week and 100% of the assigned portfolio monthly.
• Maintain specific, detailed, audit-ready notes for every evaluation in the QA platform.
• Provide actionable, rubric-referenced written feedback to interpreters and supervisors.
• Participate in weekly internal calibration sessions to support scoring consistency and rubric accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual fluency in English and the target language.
• At least 2 years of experience in Interpretation Quality Assurance or at least 4 years of experience as a VRI/OPI interpreter.
• Deep familiarity with HIPAA, interpreter codes of ethics, and national standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: associate’s degree or higher, and prior experience with AI QA tools or contact center quality systems.
