We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Invoice Specialist to support one of our U.S.-based clients. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking payments, maintaining accurate account records, and communicating with clients regarding billing and payment-related questions.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, accounting support, or a similar administrative role who is comfortable working with numbers and managing multiple accounts.
Responsibilities Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients.Review client accounts and monitor outstanding balances.Follow up with clients regarding payment status and outstanding balances.Process and reconcile partial payments and update account balances.Prepare updated invoices when balances or payments change.Review account information and identify billing discrepancies or inconsistencies.Research and resolve invoice or payment-related issues.Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.Manage multiple client accounts while meeting deadlines.Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding billing and account questions.Answer and make phone calls as needed. Training will be provided.Provide professional and responsive customer service.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications 1+ year of experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounting support, or a related role.Experience with Workers' Compensation billing is a plus but not required.Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers and financial information.Basic to intermediate Excel skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Comfortable communicating with clients and internal teams.Professional, reliable, and trustworthy.Able to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and client information.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
