iOS Developer

TCS is seeking an experienced iOS Developer for supporting an important global customer in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and leading high-quality mobile solutions, while mentoring teams and driving technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications using modern frameworks and best practices.Lead development efforts and contribute to architectural and design decisions.Mentor and guide junior developers, enabling them to work independently and follow best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Design.Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.Drive technical discussions, evaluating trade-offs between short-term and long-term solutions.Develop and support applications across the full lifecycle: development, App Store release, and post-production support.Integrate mobile applications with backend services using REST APIs and JSON.Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through testing and optimization.Stay up to date with the latest iOS features, App Store requirements, and industry trends.Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and Agile practices.
Technical Requirements & Expertise
5+ years of experience in iOS development.Strong hands-on experience with Swift, Objective-C, and iOS SDK.Experience with modern UI frameworks such as SwiftUI (UIKit is a plus).Experience building and maintaining applications across the full mobile lifecycle (development, release, and support).Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and working with remote data (JSON).Experience developing multi-threaded and networked mobile applications.Familiarity with third-party libraries and API integrations.Strong understanding of mobile architectures, design patterns, and best practices.Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum or similar).Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently.Experience with automated testing and building reliable test suites.Ability to work with and improve existing data models and schemas.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in the financial services industry.Experience leading cross-functional or high-impact initiatives.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Experience in performance optimization and monitoring tools.
