iOS/Swift Developer

Job Title: iOS/Swift Developer Location: LATAM (Remote)Duration: 6 months with possible extension or FTE conversion

As an integral member of our mobile development team, you will influence the mobile strategy by delivering high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions aligned with our company’s vision. Your expertise will directly impact how users experience our products, making this a critical position within our organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and user-friendly iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to optimize application performance and resolve issues.Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development to continuously improve app functionality and user experience.Implement and maintain automated testing and continuous integration processes to ensure app quality and reliability.Assist in deployment and release management of iOS applications to the Apple App Store.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as an iOS Developer with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience and a strong portfolio of released applications on the Apple App Store.Solid understanding and expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.Extensive experience with Xcode and iOS SDK frameworks.Familiarity with RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications with backend services.Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.Deep understanding of memory management, threading, and performance tuning in iOS.Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.
