About the role
Korn Ferry is seeking an APC engineer to help ensure the high availability and performance of the company’s web page and mobile applications, including external and internal business-critical applications.
The role involves application performance monitoring, troubleshooting web applications, proactive analysis and triage of monitoring data, and end-to-end incident management. The APC engineer leads major incident response through resolution, drives root cause analysis to prevent recurrence, identifies observability gaps, and evaluates production changes for monitoring coverage.
Responsibilities
- Monitor web and mobile applications proactively and reactively to support high availability and optimal performance for external customers and internal users and prevent service disruptions.
- Prioritize and manage incidents to restore services quickly and minimize impact to members, patient care, and business operations.
- Perform advanced technical troubleshooting and incident triage, identify root causes, assess business impact, and drive timely resolutions.
- Communicate incident status and technical issues, and collaborate with engineering and development teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience in application performance monitoring, web application troubleshooting, monitoring data analysis and triage, and end-to-end incident management.
- A solid understanding of front-end and back-end technologies across the full web application stack.
- Critical thinking, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to rapidly triage issues, assess business impact, clearly communicate incident conditions, prioritize incidents, and drive timely resolution efforts.
