To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified IT & Network Support Technician.This position will be located in Coihueco, Chile.The IT & Network Support Technician is a key member of our global IT team, responsible for ensuring seamless and secure technology operations across both office and remote environments. This role involves administering systems, managing network infrastructure, and providing expert support for workstations, mobile devices, and user access issues. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with international IT professionals, troubleshoot technical problems, deploy system enhancements, and implement robust security practices. This position requires a proactive approach, strong technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to effectively support our diverse user base and maintain high availability of critical IT services.What you'll do at Fall Creek:ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Other Duties as assigned)Manage and troubleshoot network components including LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.Managing vendors/providers.Local support on both Sites (Chillan primary and Santiago Secundary).Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including repairing or replacing damaged hardware.Perform system updates, backups, and recovery procedures.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.Implement network security measures to protect data and resources.Assist in designing and deploying network enhancements and new solutions.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users both in-office and remote.Manage user accounts, permissions, and ensure compliance with security policies.Resolve login, access, and mobile device connectivity issues promptly.Address mobile device issues including configuration, software updates, and connectivity.Ensure that remote users have secure and reliable access to company resources.Work closely with a global team of IT technicians to share knowledge and implement best practices.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network infrastructure, and troubleshooting procedures, including inventory records and asset management systems.Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards.Monitor for potential security threats and assist in the implementation of countermeasures.Participate in regular security audits and update protocols as necessary.What you bring to Fall Creek:REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network support.Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.Experience in a global, multicultural IT environment is a plus.Proficient with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and server administration.Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security practices. Experience with virtualization, cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.), and remote access solutions.Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and supporting remote endpoints.CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ preferred. Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, MCSA or similar preferred.CCNA or equivalent networking certification preferred. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a global, collaborative team.Excellent time management and organizational skills.
