We are now looking for an IT Regional Architect to shape and drive the technology architecture across Latin America and Canada, enabling seamless consumer and customer experiences at scale!

Role Purpose

The IT Regional Architect is responsible for defining and governing the regional technology architecture, ensuring that digital solutions across markets are integrated, scalable, and aligned with global platforms.

This role acts as a key bridge between local market needs and global IT strategy, enabling end-to-end consumer and customer experiences across B2C and B2B touchpoints.

Your Day to Day

Regional Architecture & IntegrationDefine and evolve the regional architecture blueprint across multiple marketsEnsure strong alignment between local initiatives and global platformsDrive integration across key ecosystems, including:WebsitesCRMConsumer careRetail and partner platformsEnable connected consumer journeys across all touchpoints Portfolio & Solution GovernanceEvaluate and guide new initiatives from an architecture perspectiveAnticipate the impact of new launches (e.g., categories, brands)Ensure solutions are:ScalableHigh-performingSustainable long-termPromote adoption of global platforms over fragmented local solutions Planning for growth and developing future goals Define the transition toward:Multi-category ecosystem (IQOS, ZYN, others)One-to-one personalization capabilitiesGlobal platforms replacing legacy local solutionsIdentify key dependencies, risks, and investment needs Customer Management & InfluencePartner closely with:Regional IT leadershipGlobal product & technology teamsCommercial and consumer functionsInfluence senior collaborators to align on common architecture decisionsBalance technical excellence with business constraints (budget, timelines, priorities) Technical Oversight & Quality StandardsEnsure adherence to guidelines in architecture and engineering, including:Reliability and continuity (e.g., disaster recovery)Performance and scalabilityResilience and stabilityProvide guidance to solution architects and engineering teams during delivery Team Development (Future Scope)Potentially build and lead a team of 1–2 solution architectsProvide coaching and direction aligned with regional standards

Experience

Who We’re Looking For

10–15+ years of experience in IT, with progression from:Solution Architecture / Application Designto Enterprise or Regional Architecture rolesProven experience designing end-to-end digital ecosystemsExperience working across global and regional collaborators

Technical & Functional Expertise

Strong foundation in:Enterprise ArchitectureSolution ArchitectureDigital platforms and ecosystemsDeep understanding of:Omnichannel ecosystems (web, apps, CRM, retail, call center)Integration of global vs. local solutionsFamiliarity with:Cloud architectureAPIs and scalable platforms

Eye For Business

Strong understanding of consumer and customer engagement modelsAbility to translate business strategy into technology architecture decisionsExperience in complex or regulated environments is a plus

Leadership & Soft Skills (Critical)

Strong team member management and influencing skillsAbility to navigate complex and conflicting prioritiesClear communicator capable of translating technical topics into business languageBalance between critical thinking and hands-on understanding
