IT Risk and Control Audit Specialist

Whats unique about this job (What you’ll do) The successful candidate is going to evaluate risks from the IT environment, analyze opportunities to increase the surveillance in the IT team, as well as managing control routines to ensure the adherence to the controls and policies are in place.
Responsibilities
Administrate the technological risk cycle: Identify, assess, evaluate the inherent risk and monitor the controls with the corresponding frequency.Perform process reviews to evaluate the process from the key operational controls and the key risk indicators to identify opportunities to improve.Partner effectively with Internal Audit for annual reviews from IT.Administrate effectively the external audits to ensure the deliverables and phases from the audit are in adherence with the auditable evidence.Administrate the campaigns for access reviews from the company to ensure the compliance with critical controls from the company.Support the documentation of the risk workflow per process and new projects requiring controls from us.Partner with the key stakeholders from the team to document and evaluate the data integrity from the reports pulled from the team.Support the creation of the Risk and Control Matrix from IT to ensure the controls and risks are mapped effectively in adherence with the internal policies.Support the implementation of new technologies and assess the new projects coming into the company to ensure the adherence to the internal controls are in place.
Other relevant tasksSurveillance of the key controls define in the Risk, Activity, Control and Monitoring matrix.Support the creation of the new control framework for the IT department.Evaluate the emerging risks from the team to ensure those are address through an effective control mechanism.Support the Continuity of business team to ensure the recovery evidence is stored in the correct place.Partner Enterprise Risk Management for corporate initiatives.Partner with Internal controls to document and enhance the control framework.
Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are) Bachelor’s Degree preferred but combination of experience and education considered.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent organizational skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.Willingness to learn and stay updated with new developments in the field.Certifications for Scrum, ISO, Cobit, ITIL and any other related framework.
