About the Role: The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer systems, networks, and technology infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role provides technical support to employees, resolves system issues, and supports the implementation of IT solutions that align with business needs.
Responsibilities:Provide technical support to end users (hardware, software, and network issues)Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipmentManage user accounts, emails, and access permissionsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactivelyEnsure data security, backups, and system updates are properly maintainedSupport internal systems, tools, and applications used by the companyDocument IT procedures, issues, and resolutionsCollaborate with other departments to support business operations
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)1–3+ years of experience in IT support or similar roles
Required Skills:Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networkingFamiliarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issuesGood understanding of cybersecurity best practices
