Jr. Java Support Engineer

About the role

HCLTech is looking for a Jr. Java Support Engineer with experience in Java, Spring Boot, SQL and monitoring to join its technology team. This is a full-time permanent position with HCLTech Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Support production applications.
• Write, modify and troubleshoot SQL queries and scripts.
• Analyze code, debug issues and troubleshoot applications.
• Work with incident management, change management and major incident processes.
• Use monitoring and alerting tools, including Elastic and Kibana.

Requirements

• Experience in Java development and/or application support.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience using ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and customer-facing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.
