About the team
The Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) team serves as the vital bridge between R&D and our Manufacturing Team. We guarantee that the satellites we design can be produced using repeatable, scalable processes. We are the nexus between design and manufacturing, working under tight deadlines to ensure rapid production feasibility.
About the job
As a Jr. software AIT engineer you will be responsible to provide the software tools needed to support the production. Your mission will be to develop and implement acceptance software tools needed to test our satellites during the production phase. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will be closely working with electronic, mechanical, flight software, manufacturing and AIT engineers.
Responsibilities:Analyze functional requirementsUnderstand test cases and develop test tools for our satellite prototypesImplement test tools that can be applied in a manufacturing environmentReceive feedback from the production team to improve software toolsCollaborate to develop and implement frameworks of test toolsOversee the quality and reliability of our solutions
About youRequired experience:Engineering degree in software/electronicsProficient in PythonExperience or strong interest in working with electronics in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with highly integrated systems and interdisciplinary teams (e.g. electronics, software, optics, mechanics, etc.)Hands on RTOS and/or LinuxExperience with real-time constraints and hardware interfaces (e.g. SPI, UART, I2C, USB, ETH and MQTT, Ethernet)Desirable experience/skills:Proficient in CFamiliarity with Docker or containers technology.Familiarity with source code manager tools (gitlab or similar).Capacity to learn continuously and passion for pushing the limits.Advanced English proficiency levels.What we value:Proactivity, flexibility, agility and versatility.
