Junior Controller

About the role

Vintti is seeking an experienced Junior Controller to join a growing accounting team supporting consumer brands with their accounting and financial operations. This individual contributor role has no direct reports or people management responsibilities.

The role is suited to someone who has worked directly with consumer brands and understands inventory-driven accounting environments. English proficiency is flexible at the time of hire; candidates should be able to communicate internally and have a strong desire to continue developing their English, the company's primary working language.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for consumer brand businesses.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile Shopify, point-of-sale, and other sales platforms with accounting records.
• Work with inventory management systems and similar operational tools.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end close and other accounting processes.

Requirements

• QuickBooks Online experience is a must-have.
• Hands-on accounting experience within consumer brands, such as CPG, food, beauty, healthcare, apparel, health & wellness, or other consumer brands.
• Experience with inventory, retail, and/or direct-to-consumer sales environments is particularly relevant.
• Comfort working with inventory and sales-related systems and reconciling data across platforms.
• Ability to communicate internally and a strong desire to continue developing English.
