About the role
EMAYA is seeking a Junior Creative Developer (Front End Developer) to develop projects from client-provided requirements and storyboards, including complex JavaScript animations and API pulls. The role involves creating websites, applications, rich media display and social media campaigns, and converting design direction into compatible development formats.
The developer works with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective deliverables. The role calls for expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, animations and design tools, along with attention to detail and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Convert client-supplied files into responsive HTML websites, landing pages and ad units.
- Develop responsive rich media based on client briefs, storyboards and PSD files.
- Annotate design documents with font families, weights, colors and other specifications.
- Work with clients to gather requirements and ensure their needs are met.
- Provide creative input and suggestions during client meetings and project briefings.
- Communicate with team leads and clients about project progress and feedback.
- Use HTML, CSS and JavaScript best practices to ensure projects are compatible across platforms.
Requirements
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and animations.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and Acrobat.
- Expertise in Figma and code editors.
- Creative thinking to generate innovative ideas and development solutions that captivate target audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and feedback clearly.
- Attention to detail when ensuring designs meet client specifications and industry standards.
