About RedtreeRedtree Engineering, part of CSI's global network, specializes in engineering, project management, and construction support services for power systems, industrial facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, and complex energy projects.We are seeking a Junior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team and contribute to industrial, energy, and process projects. This role offers the opportunity to learn alongside experienced engineers, develop hands-on technical skills, and build a career in automation and control systems.
Position OverviewAs a Junior Instrumentation & Control Engineer, you will support the technical development and execution of instrumentation and control deliverables across industrial and energy projects. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will contribute to design documentation while progressively taking on greater technical responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and update instrument datasheets.Develop instrument lists, control signal lists, and I/O lists.Contribute to the development of P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control architectures.Support the selection and specification of field instruments.Collaborate on the design of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.Participate in technical reviews with clients and vendors.Perform technical follow-up of supplies and engineering documentation.Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Required QualificationsAdvanced student or graduate in Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.0–3 years of experience in industrial, energy, oil & gas, chemical, or manufacturing projects (internships and early professional experience count).Proficiency in written and spoken English.Proactive, service-oriented, and organized, with a strong interest in teamwork and learning new tools.
Preferred QualificationsWe highly value candidates with exposure to:Fundamentals of industrial instrumentation: pressure, temperature, flow, and level.Interpretation of P&IDs and electrical diagrams.Fundamentals of PLC, DCS, and SCADA.Industrial networks and communication protocols.Basic knowledge of IEC 61131, IEC 61850, Modbus, Profibus, or Ethernet/IP (desirable).AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office.Genuine interest in learning about complex projects and developing new technical competencies.
