Who We Are Looking ForAt Hoist, we’re growing—and we want your talent to grow with us!We are currently seeking a Junior Technical Analyst whose primary responsibilities will include optimizing software performance, identifying the root causes of errors, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure efficient functionality of our software systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the work closely with the business functional analyst, in conjunction with the client to ensure the delivery of technical solutions.Attending and contributing to requirement gathering sessions and specification review meetings.Proficient in Oracle PLSQL.Ability to implement logical structures, integrated with cursers and solve basic business logic problem.Accountable for software development of moderately complex according to specification documents.Developments could include but are not limited to reports, integrations, configurations, mods and more.Presenting solutions to the client.Begin to recognize incident commonalities and has a demonstrable understanding of development methodologies.When required- help with support issues when required.Responsible for updating their own work schedule as required in HOIST’sLearning new skills and teaching skills to others.Expected to be able to identify when they do not know how to perform a development task and to reach out to a more senior developer for help.Keep on top of industry trends in the IFS eco system, including but not limited to recertification, Restful APIs
Must HaveBegree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.1–2 years of experience in a related role.Conversational English.Proficiency in SQL.Experience with Python.Familiarity with other programming languages.Experience working with business teams.Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
