About the role
The Kafka Engineer designs, implements, and maintains robust, scalable event streaming architectures using Apache Kafka. The role supports distributed streaming solutions for real-time data processing and integration across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable event streaming architectures using Apache Kafka and related technologies.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for high-performance, real-time data processing.
- Configure and manage Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.
- Implement stream processing solutions using Kafka Streams, Apache Flink, or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate solutions into existing enterprise architectures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex distributed streaming system challenges.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and distributed streaming architectures.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing event streaming systems.
- Proficiency in Java and stream processing technologies.
- Experience with Kafka ecosystem tools such as Confluent Platform, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and messaging architectures.
