Job Title: Key Account Operations Analyst Location: PanamáDepartment: SalesReports To: Key Account Manager - Walmart
Job Summary:Provide reliable data, business intelligence and operating discipline to support faster decision-making, accurate performance measurement and timely execution of the item creation process across Key Accounts.The Analyst owns item creation, commercial data integrity, forecast and sales tracking, performance reporting and business analysis, providing the visibility required by the KAM and CPFR teams to execute effectively.
Key Responsibilities:Business Intelligence & Performance TrackingMaintain standardized sales, budget, forecast, margin, fill-rate and shortage reporting.Maintain and validate the commercial forecast database by customer, country and SKU.Track forecast vs. orders vs. invoiced sales vs. budget, identifying material variances and trends.Validate data consistency across Power BI, customer information, orders and invoicing.Prepare weekly dashboards, business reviews and performance bridges.Analyze SKU, country, customer, category and vendor performance.Identify sales opportunities, performance gaps and forecast risks for KAM review.Track actions, commitments and exceptions emerging from operating reviews.Escalate data variances and reporting risks before commercial decisions or commission calculations are affected.Support process mapping, system documentation and continuous improvement.
Item Creation & ImplementationOwn and track the end-to-end item creation process, from commercial approval through customer item activation.Maintain a centralized Item Creation & Launch Tracker by country and SKU.Ensure all required commercial and product information is complete before submission.Coordinate required information across Key Accounts, Brand Management, Regulatory, Pricing, Supply Chain, Operations and customer teams.Complete and/or coordinate customer item creation forms and system submissions.Track customer item numbers, vendor numbers, system activation and country-specific requirements.Validate that approved pricing, case configuration and commercial conditions are correctly reflected in the item setup.Identify and escalate missing information or bottlenecks affecting item creation or launch timing.Once the item is activated and commercially ready, hand off operational execution to the CPFR for order, inventory and pipeline management.Conduct post-launch commercial validation of item setup, pricing, invoicing and initial sales performance.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.0-2 years of experience in an administrative, analytical, or commercial support role; FMCG/CPG or food distribution experience is a plus but not required.Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) and comfort building simple presentations; Power BI is a plus.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.Good communication skills to follow up and coordinate across teams.Eagerness to learn and grow within sales team.
